The technical head of Golf of EUSA (European Association of University Sports), Miha Kurner, has made, during this week, an inspection visit of the facilities that will host the celebration of the EUCGolf 2019, European Championship of Golf Universities 2019, in Antequera (Malaga).
The head of EUSA in Golf, held meetings during the visit with the CEO of Antequera Golf Group, Ramón Jiménez, and the director of this field, Víctor Casado, and with the Manager of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Miguel Navarro. Finally, a visit was made to the Hotel Antequera, Hotel Convento La Magdalena, and the 18 holes of the spectacular Campo de Antequera Golf were visited.
To end the intense days of work, Miha Kurner, held a meeting with the Executive Committee, which detailed the most significant progress and preparations that have made each of the areas of the organization of this important international sporting event.
The University of Málaga, Antequera and the Antequera Golf Group have been jointly organizing national and international sporting events for a decade, generating a significant media and economic impact on the environment, with a stable synergy between institutions and companies, which are part of the clusters that are developed in each of the championships held.
